I am honored to participate in the opening of the 6th World
Buddhist Forum at Maitreya Temple here in Ningbo. On
behalf of the Buddhist Association of Canada, I congrat-
ulate the forum and extend my gratitude to the Chinese
Buddhist Association for your outstanding work.

Since 2006, the World Buddhist Forum has served as a
key platform, connecting Buddhists around the world,
and uniting our community.

In today’s world, we face challenges such as disease,
conflict, and environmental issues. The forum’s theme,
“Shared Aspirations, Harmonious Coexistence,” is espe-
cially important.
