Dear Venerable Master Dà Yì,
It is with sorrow we have learned from Shaoling that Most
Venerable Sing Hong, Founder of the Buddhist Association
of Canada, Cham Shan Temple, and the Four Great Buddhist
Mountains of Canada passed on December 16, 2024.
We have learned that Most Venerable Sing Hong was your
esteemed spiritual teacher. Under his guidance and teachings, you
were able to expand the Dharma and cultivate many connections,
and the development of Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden, thus
benefiting countless sentient beings. At this moment, we share in
your grief and extend our deepest condolences.
In this time of mourning, we also feel fortunate to have had the
opportunity to connect with the Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden,
and with you. The Most Venerable Sing Hong’s original
aspiration and vision will undoubtedly continue to shine through
your guidance to carry forward his legacy.
With deepest respect, we offer our heartfelt condolences and
prayers. May Most Venerable master Sing Hong rest in peace,
and may you be well. And may your wisdom and virtue continue
to flourish.
